GUP City
The land of Gup is constantly in sunlight. King Chattergy is the King of Gup. In Gup City, there are waterways everywhere. The Capitol of Gup was built on an Archipelago of one thousand and one small islands off the mainland. The Lagoon, which is between the Archipelago, is an expanse of many colored waters. Most Guppees lived here in wooden buildings with roofs of silver and gold. The mainland is a garden which comes down right to the edge of the water. In the garden are fountains, pleasure-domes, ancient trees. The three most important buildings in Gup are The Palace of King Chattergy, The Parliament of Gup and the P2C2E House. The Palace of King Chattergy has a large balcony that looks down on the garden. The Parliament of Gup, also called the Chatterbox, is where debates are held which can last for weeks or months or even years, because Guppees love to talk. The P2C2E House is where the Processes Too Complicated To Explain are controlled. It is very noisy and inside are the one thousand and one Machines Too Complicated to Explain.
